Description
I've been trying to install Window 8 Consumer Preview Build 8250. I enabled VT-x in my BIOS and in VirtualBox. It said when I booted up in the VM that I had VT-x enabled but not operative, and caused the following error in the booting process of Windows 8: 0x0000000A. It would also occasionally pull a Guru Meditation. I use:
HP 520
Intel Core Duo T2400(1833 Mhz, SSE2, SSE3, VT-x) 4GB RAM 80GB HDD
I selected in VirtualBox: IO APIC PIIX 3 & ICH9 VT-x PAE/NX and 1 CPU
