Description
Client host and remote host are gentoo testing, child is windows server 2008 r2 (virtual machine with dotnet website). Windows is situated at remote machine. want to control it remotely and I dont want to use rdp. I am using x11vnc as vncserver and remmina as client.
Inputting "test (shift+1)(shift+2)(shift+3)(shift+4)(shift+5)(shift+6)(shift+7)(shift+8)(shift+9)(shift+0)". See screenshot attached.
Remote text editor : "test !@#$%&*()_+"
Remote virtual windows editor : "test !@#$%&*_+"
So I cant input "(" (shift + 9) and ")" (shift + 0) to remote virtual windows.

Not sure I have got your set-up correctly. I understood from your description that you are running Remina on Gentoo-1 (if I may give your system a quick name), connecting to a VNC server running on Gentoo-2, running VirtualBox on Gentoo-2 and running Windows Server 2008 inside that VirtualBox instance;
Absolutely.
Than, I am inputting "(" and ")" to text editor on Gentoo-2 and it works. But I cant input these symbols to windows. So I am sure, that problem is in virtualbox (or windows)

I see. Could you please attach a log file from a run of the Windows Server 2008 virtual machine to this ticket?

PS "(" and ")" dont work anywhere in the windows (not only in notepad++). I've tested it in notepad, cmd and text inputs in mssql config

Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.

Could you please correct my summary?
