Ticket #12182, comment 31
initial v1 1 I have the same problem. Can't use my VM's anymore. I tried also to reinstall Virtualbox and some others. What I recognized additionally: Everytime Virtualbox tries to create a host-only adapter, there will be a new unknown device in windows device manager. After I recognized it, there were more than 30 unknown devices. The problem is, that I can't install the device in normal boot mode. Everytime I want to uninstall the devices, I have to boot in Windows recoverymode to uninstall them. Everyone else noticed this behavior?1 I have the same problem. Can't use my VM's anymore. Everytime I want to uninstall the devices, I have to boot in Windows saved mode to uninstall them. Everyone else noticed this behavior? 2 2 3 3 I assume that something is wrong with permissions in windows. Maybe the installation brokes some permission rights in the OS.
