Description
I'm trying to get pci passthrough of an nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti video card to work, in order to use CUDA in a virtual machine. I realize this is probably very experimental, and maybe completely unsupported, but it would be very useful to us, so I'm having a go.
I'm on a x86_64 Linux host, running ubuntu 14.04.1. My CPU/chipset should support VT-d / IOMMU, and it should be enabled (I'm passing intel_iommu=on as a kernel option)
Attaching something simple as the host audio device seems to work (at least virtualbox doesn't crash), but I'm getting a Guru Meditation when trying to attach an nvidia gpu.
Please see attached VBox.log and other logs for more info.
