---|---|---|---|
Component: | VMM | Version: | VirtualBox 4.3.16 |

Description
Happens on both Win and Linux hosts (64bit) Guest eCS 2.0 with ACPI using 2 cores.
To reproduce this crash, all I do is start Pronews, and fetch lots of news with many threads.
Also happened with Vbox 4.3.14

Both reports look a bit different. In the report from Yoda the guest is executing code in an unusual place (eip=fff111d7) and there is no mapping for this code. And GDT + LDT don't look valid.
In the report from Grimeton the guest triggered a triple fault when executing 'int3' (a few side effects must be fulfilled).

Grimeton, you are trying to boot Windows 8.1, correct? In that case your VM OS type is wrong!

I can see the same problem running Ubuntu 14.04/VirtualBox-4.3.16 on one host. Another host, same setup works just fine. The guest is Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bits booting from the installation DVD (image). I double checked the configuration and it's exactly the same on both hosts.
It happened on 4.3.14 so I updated to 4.3.16 - Same problem.
Attached two files: VBoxHeadless.log.txt - The output generated by VBoxHeadless -s win8 -vrde config VBox.log - The logfile from this VM.
If you need anything, let me know.
