Win 7 64b VB: 4.3.18.r96516
I exported an OVA file from VirtualBox to a drive on a different machine. When I tried importing that OVA file back into the VB that created it I got the error above.
I'd guess this is an admin level permissions error, but I can't see why I'd need admin privs to write to my Users dir folder.

The problem is not access rights but that the VMDK contained in the OVA is not recognized by our VMDK code for some reason. There were some fixes in the meantime so please try with a recent VirtualBox release. Please reopen this ticket if this is still relevant and attach at least the VBoxSVC.log. If possible try to create a small appliance you can share with us and which shows the problem.
