initial v1 2 2 3 3 So, VirtualBox needs to take the appropriate steps to elegantly recover from a MacOS Finder abnormal termination and then correctly restore access to an already-running virtual machines. 4 5 The only workaround is to use Microsoft Remote Desktop (RDP) to access the now completely inaccessible Virtual Machine window, if you had fortunately managed to set that up beforehand. 6 7 This is a pretty serious problem for MacOS X Yosemite users.
