Description
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine XP.
The virtual machine 'XP' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1 (0x1). More details may be available in 'C:\Users\Chris\VirtualBox VMs\XP\Logs\VBoxStartup.log'.

i have this error on 2 different computers both with win7/32 .... in this situation help uninstal new OVB version & install old one - in my case was 4.3.12 after works all fine maybe is a bug in new version

As the error message says, more details are available in the VBoxStartup.log file. We cannot guess the content of that file...
