iTunes quits importing CDs when virtualbox is running

Description
I am running Mac Yosemite OSX with windows 8.1 running on virtualbox. iTunes on my Mac will not import from CDs when Virtualbox is running. On the other hand, virtual machine in virtual box will not start when itunes is active. When I close itunes on the mac then I can open windows on the VM with no issues.
