No USB devices after reboot

Description
Installed on Ubuntu 14.04("trusty") with extension pack without any issues. Only after _subsequent reboots_, the folder /dev/vboxusb/ is not populated and no USB devices are available for any guests. The udev rules file is correct; I can retrigger udev as follows: # /sbin/udevadm trigger --subsystem-match=usb --verbose --action=add and all USB devices are available again. So I suspect a timing issue in the boot sequence.

Please reopen if this is still an issue with a recent version of VirtualBox.
