#17533 new defect
USB3.1 USB stick fails to enumerate

Description
Host: W10 LTSB (64bit) Guest: Linux (64bit) VB Version: 5.2.6 r120293 (Qt5.6.2)
I've recently purchased another one of these sticks (Verbatim Go V3 MAX). The old ones (read out as USB3.0) work just fine.
This one however shows up as USB3.1 (booting linux on physical machine). The stick works just fine on W10 / linux, as long as I don't use a VM.
Disabling USB3 in the VM "helps", but USB2 speeds are just 5MB/s.

Addendum.
1)
The Varbatim stick works in USB2.0 ports when handed through to the VM.
2)
Yet another 3.1 stick that doesn't work in USB3 ports. As far as I can tell, same error as the other one.

Just tested on a Linux host (Leap 42.3) with "virtualbox-5.1.36-50.1.x86_64" and it works!
So this is either a regression or indeed limited to windows hosts.

Yet another update:
The bug is still present in 5.2.12-r122591 on a W10 host (2016 LTSB 1607)
I've tested the same USB3.1 sticks on a linux host (leap 15.0) with a linux guest (leap 15.0) and a windows guest (W10...). It works without any issues. It seems to be limited to windows hosts.
Working linux host (leap 15.0):
- Linux linux-gapw 4.12.14-lp150.11-default #1 SMP Fri May 11 08:28:30 UTC 2018 (a9fee09) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Working linux guest (leap 15.0):
- Linux linux-gapw 4.12.14-lp150.11-default #1 SMP Fri May 11 08:28:30 UTC 2018 (a9fee09) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I've the same error in 5.2.22, on Mac host and linux guest.
My workaround is to use usbc->usb3->usbc adapters.

This appears to be fixed on 6.0.2 for _me_.
Tested with: W10 host (2016 LTSB), linux guest.
Maybe some more folk could have a look at this again and verify.
