X falls back to safe mode on Ubuntu 8.10 when you assign exactly 12MB of video memory with guest additions isntalled => Fixed in SVN

Description
If you assign 8MB or 16MB of video memory to the VM, X boots correctly.
If you use the number 12 for the video memory size with the VirtualBox guest additions, X will fail to launch with an AddScreen error in the Xorg.log.
The same setting of 12MB is working so far on Centos (albeit at a different screen resolution).
Can gather more information about the problem, but not exactly sure what is useful to know.

Thank you for this report. This bug will be fixed in the next release. For now, make sure that the video memory size is a power of 2.
