I have Windows 7 RC1/x64 running fine on Windows XP SP2, 32-bit, VirtualBox 2.2.2.

Is your guest OS 32-bit or 64-bit?

64bit

This is because your HOST processor is 32 bit. Mark me if im wrong, but the GUEST os uses the HOST os's processor. So you will have to install a 32 bit version. I am running a 32 bit Windows 7 RC1 just fine because I have a 32 bit processor and i installed a 32 bit guest version.

Thanks, Dogo Josho

Dogo Josho : Either way it should not crash the host.

Hexxer: Please attach VBox logs.
