3D Acceleration not working for Windows 7 guest on Windows 7 host

Description (last modified by )
Just to let you know the 3D feature doesn't seem to be working cleanly. Sorry, I reverted to have a working system and have no log file.
- I was able to install the 3D drivers (boot into safe mode. Manually rename a 3d9d.dll (or similarly named file so the installer could write it)
- Startup was fine. dxdiag also ran fine.
- Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio is however crashing with this installed (the virtual environment emulator makes extensive use of it)
Regards.

It turns out this doesn't work on XP SP3 clients either. The Microsoft DSS Manifest Editor is crashing on startup with VB 3D installed. Without installing it starts but cannot create the virtual environments.
