Windows application on guest quits if shared clipboard enabled and using remote display — at Initial Version

Description
Using 3.0.8 Ubuntu hardy amd64 host, Windows XP (SP3) 32 bit guest, a PCB design package program running on the guest quits when it tries to copy (binary?) stuff to the clipboard. This only appears to happen when I am using a remote display (Windows built-in rdp, not the virtualbox rdp).
