VBox cannot mount USB harddrive in Xubuntu guest

Description (last modified by Frank Mehnert)

I'm very new to this bug reporting thing so bear with me here:

When trying to mount usb hard drive in VBox a gnarly error gets thrown with lots of letters and numbers and something to do with a UUID. This is done in a Xubuntu 10.10 64 bit guest with guest additions installed on a mac os x 10.6.5 host.

I get this error message:

USB device 'Western Digital External HDD' with UUID {419d8a9f-37b1-4135-a889-6bfd3fa38437} is busy with a previous request. Please try again later.

and this additional info

Result Code: NS_ERROR_INVALID_ARG (0x80070057) Component: HostUSBDevice Interface: IHostUSBDevice {173b4b44-d268-4334-a00d-b6521c9a740a} Callee: IConsole {6375231a-c17c-464b-92cb-ae9e128d71c3}

My device is not busy with anything else. No other programs are using it, I checked.

If you need any additional files or what not please let me know, I hope to help this get fixed as soon as possible.
