Description (last modified by )
I am using phpvirtualbox latest svn, to repeat this bug do the following :
- Make a snapshot and make some changes to the settings
- Start the instance
- Power Off the instance
- Restore the snapshot
- Do iso mounting on the Sata ide controller
and it throws an 0x80004005 error both on the phpvirtualbox and virtualbox gui itself, later i checked in on the process list the VboxSVC service still running :
root 8818 0.2 0.0 287400 9860 ? SNl 03:55 0:01 /usr/lib/virtualbox/VBoxSVC --auto-shutdown
Temporary solution would be manually killed the process and refresh phpvirtualbox, and mounting iso work fine afterward.

This issue of VboxSVC not being gracefully killed by VBoxWebSrv can be easily shown by simply running VBoxWebSrv.exe then closing it again.
In Task Manager you will still see VboxSVC lurking around for around 10 minutes before it gets killed. Within that time many VBoxWebSrv instances could get created and as the original poster shows can cause problems else where.
Any idea if this could get fixed?
