Getting Windows Update Error Codes 0x800736B3 (8007054F, 800736b3) on guest Windows 7 Enterprise x64 installed on VHD and create 2-3 snapshot.

After I installed "Windows 7 Enterprise x64" to VHD, I created a 2-3 snapshots.
Next, I tried to install all offered updates of Windows 7 completely. I ran the scan for updates several times and finally getting Windows Update Error Codes 800736B3 (8007054F, 800736b3) in different packages updates (KB971033, KB2478662 for example).
Search the Internet pointed to a link http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/ru-RU/w7itprosecurity/thread/0b132d11-4d22-4880-b2dc-22ae6280d707 Member of the "HotSpot Computing" has determined that the problem in SATA controller. After reinstalling Windows 7 Enterprise x64 to VDI-image problems have disappeared. In both cases, we used AHCI mode with a fixed-size image and Host I / O caching.

Please try with a recent release of VirtualBox. There were quite a few VHD fixes inbetween. Closing for now, please reopen if still relevant.
Addition: No Guest Additions installed.
