Windows 8 Compatibility
VirtualBox Guest Additions older than 4.1.x may not properly work with Microsoft Windows 8. To run Windows 8 as a VirtualBox guest we recommend to use VirtualBox 4.1.16 or newer and to install the VirtualBox Guest Additions 4.1.16 or newer.
