win 7 64 guest crash on xp

Description
Running nothing much except a cl program on a win 7 64 guest, this crash is pretty horrible in that it forces laptop into hibernation! - and I get xp outr of hibernate & try to rerun the vm says 'cannot run because vt-x is not enabled' or some such - it clearly was enabled! I have to reboot host to be able to restart vbox and the vm.

btw, just noticed that when I try to restart the vm I get a message saying that it had aborted with a critical error, and 'guru mediation' in the title bar and it says that in the log too. hth
