Description
Installed Oracle Enterprise Linux in Virtual box and installing Apps and abruptly Virtual box crashes.
VBox.log is uploaded, the file size is huge to last 1000lines are uploaded in VBox.log Appreciate your help in fixing it.

I am not sure this is actually a bug at this point or user error.
Support for this is also being given on the forums.

We fixed a bug which could be related to your problem. Could you install a test build and check if the problem is gone? Unfortunately we couldn't trigger that bug in various tests. Therefore we need someone to confirm that it is really fixed. If you still experience that assertion with the test build, please attach a new VBox.log file. Thank you!

frank, can you say if the problem I am experiencing is the same as this one, or should I log a new bug? Also, does 4.1.18 contain your fix?

arb, VBox 4.1.18 contains a fix which could address the exact problem you mentioned. So upgrading to 4.1.18 would not hurt and with a bit of luck the bug you observed is fixed as well. If you still see that assertion with 4.1.18, we are back at the drawing board...

I got the same assert on VirtualBox 4.2.0 running a Windows XP guest on Windows 7 host. I had a lot of disk activity on the host at the time.
