Ubuntu 7.10 Server can't start after install

Description
Host OS: Ubuntu 7.04 System: Intel Pentium M (Dothan), 2GByte RAM I also tried it with VirtualBox 1.5.2
After an install of Ubuntu 7.10 Server on a boot it says: Starting up ... PANIC: CPU too old for this kernel.
Is there a way to give more details for this problem?

Known issue. VirtualBox does not support the PAE mode, see ticket #212. Just install a normal kernel.
