GM(VERR_PGM_PHYS_PAGE_RESERVED) on boot

Component: | other | Version: | VirtualBox 4.1.16 |
Keywords: | linux kernel boot | Cc: | |

Description
I tried to perform these instructions as explained here: http://www.sysresccd.org/news/2007/10/14/boot-systemrescuecd-from-your-windows-ntfs-partition
To sum it up, you copy the contents of sysrescue's iso image and make your Microsoft bootloader boot into linux from ntfs partition.
I used sysrescue cd 2.7.1 with x86 boot option as described in that online document.
As soon as the kernel tries to boot, I get this error with Virtualbox 4.1.12 and 4.1.16

Still relevant with VBox 4.1.20? If so, please test if you can reproduce the same problem when using the official VirtualBox package. The log file you provided is from a Gentoo package and we found out that Gentoo changes the VirtualBox compiler flags in an invalid way.
