Component: | other | Version: | VirtualBox 4.1.20 |
Keywords: | XP, VM crash | Cc: | |
Guest type: | Windows | Host type: | Linux |
Description
The VM crashes on startup even if I updated Virtualbox, USB and serial ports are disabled, no antivirus software are installed in the guest, no network is enabled and shared folders have been removed. I have read many similar tickets and I have tried to check what they found. No way to solve the problem.

First, the log does not show any crash. A VM crash would mean that the process crashed. Or do you mean a blue screen?

No blue screen, the machine changes the status to "powering off" and after few seconds the VM window disappears.
