Description (last modified by )
Trying to use Windows XP as a host on a linux Ubuntu Gutsy guest
Everything seems to work, but USB does not.
I am trying to use an usb smart card reader (SCR 335-S).
1) Using the USB devices menu, I attach this device to the guest os 2) The guest OS sees it, but gives an error and says it cannot recognize it
if I disable USB2 things get slightly better
1) Using the USB devices menu, I attach this device to the guest os 2) The guest OS sees it, and recognizes it as an SCR 335-S, proposes drivers installation 3) When I get to this point I cannot install the drivers as the system says that none will fit (in spite of the fact that I am proposing drivers that work perfectly with native windows or windows in vmware player).
