Updated VirtualBox to version 4.2.4
The following errors came up when trying to start a guest session:
The VirtualBox kernel modules do not match this version of VirtualBox. The Installation of VirtualBox was apparently not successful. Please try completely uninstalling and reinstalling VirtualBox.
Followed by:
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine arch. The virtual machine 'arch' has terminated unexpectedly during startup.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times but still can't get it to work. Checked forums too: no solution.

Which was the previous version of VirtualBox you upgraded from and did you use the official Oracle packages or some self-compiled stuff? Could you also do one additional test and uninstall VirtualBox, then reboot the host and then install version 4.2.4 again?
