System randomly freez

Description
The guest (Win XP) and the host (Ubuntu 7.10) randomly freeze for a few seconds. some time system locked up and may be released by pressing the power button or only by rebooting.
This is a very annoying phenomena! My laptop HW is based on Intel T7200 Core2 processor with 2GB RAM and 160GB HD.

Could be a conflict with KVM, although we correctly check for its presence in 1.5.x. 1.6.0 does not, so you'd better disable it when trying the new version. Reopen if necessary.
