Cpu load high with idle OS/2 guests

Description
Still exists in 1.5.4:
Host: Ubuntu 7.04 Guests: os/2
Idle Agents still consume 30-40% of a cpu core.
I tried to uninstall almost every BASEDEV/DEVICE driver in the os/2 config.sys and dont start any application in the guest, but still these unused machines consume a lot of CPU power.
I also uninstalled TIMER0.SYS (the os/2 high frequency timer , 1ms resolution) but no change...

its os/2 warp 4.5 (convenience package) , here is the syslevel output:
Convenience Package - OS/2 Warp Basisbetriebssystem Version 4.52 Component ID 5639A6101 Type 0C Current CSD Level: XRG4502
What is MCP2? Please give me a note about the environment you used (Host OS , os/2-guest version) i wanna try out here. A copy of your "config.sys" would be great too. thomas

Any advise for me? What is MCP2 , which hardware did you use? Some special settings used?
MCP2 = convenience pack 2. Just a VT-x capable machine; default settings. No changes made to config.sys after install. Works out of the box. Not only for us, but also others.

ok, thanks. We use the same, CP2. And correct, it works without changes out of the box with VT-X = on on our Intel Doublecore Machine.
But an idle machine consumes 30-40% CPU.

Can we close this bug now since you experience a better idle load with VirtualBox 1.6.4?
can be closed. With VirtualBox 1.6.4 and Solaris 10u4 CPU load of idle os/2 guest is less than 1% on AMD-Quadcore, AMD-V enabled.

Which OS/2 version is that? We haven't seen any issues with MCP2.
