Description
I use VirtualBox 1.54 on a Ubuntu 7.10 host. When Secunia Personal Software Inspector (PSI) runs on the guest, I get a constant CPU usage of around 75% to 100% on (one core of) the host, but only 2% on the guest. As soon as I end PSI, host CPU usage is down to about 10%. When I run PSI again, the host CPU is back at 75% - 100%.

Please reopen if still relevant with VBox 3.2.8.

Maybe I should add that I have disabled the tickless timer on my system (nohz=off). Also, it seems that this bug is related to that one.
