Summary: | Guru Meditation Error → Guru Meditation Error (VERR_VMX_IN_VMX_ROOT_MODE) |
---|
The actual error is VERR_VMX_IN_VMX_ROOT_MODE. That means that some other software running in parallel to VirtualBox switched the CPU into VMX root mode. Are you running another VMM in parallel to VirtualBox or are you executing some application in Windows-XP compatibility mode?

Issue Resolved : I restarted my host and it resolved the issue. I have VMWare VM with Ubuntu as guest OS. But I do not remember if I had that running when I faced this issue with VirualBox. Anyways, thanks for looking into this.

Yes, very likely. Unfortunately boths VMMs cannot run VMs in parallel.
