I'm seeing a similar crash with PC-BSD 9.2 and 9.1 on VirtualBox 4.3 on my AMD Phenom II desktop PC. I'm able to run PC-BSD 9.2 on VirtualBox 4.3 on my Intel Core 2 Duo laptop with no issue. I am able to run PC-BSD 9.2 on my AMD desktop under VirtualBox 4.2, but no VM configuration will work on 4.3. I've tried disabling everything possible and tried every combination of chipset and CPU settings possible. I'll attach the VirtualBox log from my system. My host OS is OpenSuse 12.3 (Linux 3.7.10).

Known issue with undocumented MSR on AMD phenoms. This will most likely be fixed in the upcoming maintenance release. See https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=57784
Thank you for the report.
