Description
This release mention something about fixing video auto-scaling but on the 4.3.2-90405 Guest Addon for Win8.1 the experiment 3D box is checked and greyed out so you can't change it. I heard there was a version (i think 4.2.16) that was supposed to work but the bug persists. Also effects the other video modes (seemless, etc.. not working).
Windows Additions/WDDM: autoresize fixes <-- (not fixed)
In that WDDM.. should support autoscaling to a 1600x900, but the virtual driver had other "canned" resolutions for the video setting... I think the closest setting was 1600x1028 which cause a scroll bar to appear. Anyway dealing with auto-scaling, resolution still problematic. Works better on the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS setup (those guest addons seem to work better than the Windows side)..
Sorry to be wordy here, but I spent many hours working with this version and ready to try the next fix, or find something that does work. Thank you.

No response, closing. If you consider to reopen, please test VBox 4.3.6 first (also update the Guest Additions).
For Windows 8 / 8.1, only the WDDM driver works as the old XPDM interface is no longer supported, therfore the greyed out setting.
Which screen resolution has your host? And what exactly do you mean by "resolution still problematic"? Can you exactly describe what you expect and what you see when you change the resolution of your guest? Also, are you changing the guest screen resolution by resizing the VM window or using the display settings in the guest?
