Guest time not synchronizing with host

Description
After updating VirtualBox to 4.3.4-91027, my guest time is not synchronized with the host anymore. This problem also exists after updating to 4.3.6-91406.
Whenever the state of a guest has been saved and the host has been shut down for say 12 hours, the guest is behind for 12 hours. I have to manually synchronize the time with a time server in Windows 7 to set the time correct.

Please attach a VBox.log file for a VM session of your guest. Also, which version of the VirtualBox Guest Additions do you have installed?
