Description
Hi, my linux guest (ubuntu 12.04) won't restore on my linux host (Linux Mint 16 aka Ubuntu 13.10)
The error I get is:
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine AssetWorks.
No error info.
Result Code: NS_ERROR_CALL_FAILED (0x800706BE) Component: ProgressProxy Interface: IProgress {c20238e4-3221-4d3f-8891-81ce92d9f913}
The loading bar goes all the way to the end.
Both systems are up to date and have 4.3.6 software/additions installed.
Attached are the logs which don't seem to show an error.
? and thanks,
Mike

Restoring a VM works with 3d acceleration turned off.
I'm using a Lenovo Y710 laptop.

(FWIW, I'm running Linux Mint on the guest, and turning off 3d acceleration makes the guest unusable, so it isn't a workaround)

Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
Hey, mea culpa.
The logs with the new guest additions show this error:
