Guest type: | other | Host type: | other |
Description
When starting a heavy copy of files, the boot disk in the guest becomes slow, then unresponsive, kernel logs multiple errors, the drive eventually vanishes and the guest OS implodes.
Guest kernel first reports this:
ata1.00: cmd 60/08:00:f8:67:73/00:00:00:00:00/40 tag 0 ncq 4096 in
res 40/00:01:00:00:00/00:00:00:00:00/00 Emask 0x4 (timeout)
ata1.00: status: { DRDY } ata1: hard resetting link
Host kernel reports nothing unusual.
