Description
I have several clients from 10.5 to 10.9. After upgrading to 4.3.8 (from 4.3.6) none would boot. The workaround from #12736 fixed all except 10.5 which hangs at boot. I have 10.6.8 as a host. Attaching logs from 4.3.6, 4.3.8, boot screen with 4.3.8.

Frank, I don't know why I didn't get a notification about your comment, so I missed the test build totally. Oops. But, I can confirm that it it fixed with 4.3.10! Well done!
Now if I could only update it from 10.5 to anything 10.5.x, I would be a happy camper. Maybe I should open a new bug report, but OTOH, the fact remains that 10.5 is not officially supported.

Yes, I have no idea why upgrading doesn't work for you. But I will close this ticket. Re email notification: I don't know why this doesn't work. Are you sure you are able to receive emails sent to the email account you used as Oracle SSO account name?

I think that there was a misunderstanding. Upgrading to 4.3.10 works (both 92957 and 93012), so the ticket should be closed. It is the 4.3.8 that was the problem. I have not tried the test build that you provided here (92849) since I saw your post while checking my open bug reports and 92957 was already out.
I don't know why I didn't receive that specific e-mail notification. I received just fine this one...
Could you check if your problem was fixed by this test build? Thank you!
