Extension Package cannot be installed

Hi,

I am using Debian 7.0 wheezy on an AMD64 machine. Virtualbox (4.3.10 r93012) works perfectly, but when trying to install the corresponding extension package (Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.3.10-93012.vbox-extpack) I keep getting the following error: Das Zusatzpaket /home/duke40/Dokumente/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.3.10-93012.vbox-extpack konnte nicht installiert werden.

The installer failed with exit code 1: .

Fehlercode:NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005) Komponente:ExtPackManager Interface:IExtPackManager {3295e6ce-b051-47b2-9514-2c588bfe7554}

I have double checked the versions. I need to be able to use the USB on my Windows 7 virtual machine.

What can I do to get this working as it should?

You are using the GUI to install the ExtPack, right? Is there any of the following tools installed on your box?

1. 'kdesudo'
2. 'gksu'
3. 'pkexec'
4. 'su' and 'xterm'

? I think more information should be also available in the VBoxSVC.log file in ~/.VirtualBox. Could you attach this file to this ticket after you tried to install the ExtPack?
