Mouse capture not working on Windows 8.1 Host

Description
What is the issue: The mouse capture function does not work on a Windows 8.1 Host with Mac OS X Mountain Lion as Guest. When starting the Mac OS, I am greeted by the welcoming screen. I have to select something using the mouse (which does not work). The mouse is listed in the Settings -> USB section. http://i.imgur.com/4HYO5pE.png. I've tried multiple option given by the internet and it still doesn't work.

First, Mac OS X guests are not supported on non-Apple hardware. Second, to be able to use your mouse in the guest, you must not add a filter for your host USB mouse but the guest will just use a virtual mouse. The virtual mouse gets its coordinates from the mouse you are using to control your host.
