Description
Atm, it is possible to add a name and description for a snapshot. This is not yet possible for the "Current State".
I often work with a VM, install software for testing purposes and then forget about it when other things need attention. Two weeks later I will be wondering what the purpose or last state is.
It would be very helpful if I could add a description and/or name, so instead of "Current State" the title would be "Current State (testing Gitlab)".
I could easily change the title or update it. With snapshots, I would have to create multiple to achieve this.

I agree, this could be useful for record keeping in one place. Technically speaking this could be done using the VM description (which does correspond to "current state"), which currently cannot be reached from the snapshot view. I wonder if this really needs a 2nd kind of description or if the VM description would do the trick.
Attaching a name to "current state" doesn't make much sense to me, because it reflects what one currently does in the VM, which is always changing (or could be part of the VM naming scheme established by each user).
Just to point it out clearly: "current state" is not a snapshot, it is the current state of the VM and is only shown in the snapshot tree to indicate of which snapshot in the hierarchy the current VM state is the descendent.
I understand you intention and it makes some sense. However, this would be an additional comment. There is already the VM description. You will probably argue that the VM description is more generic and the comment you intend describes only the latest state of the VM. Still, probably low-priority.
