Window Lock on regular guests

When I have a host with running guests launched in regular windows (not headless), a spurious mouse click on the Close box without thinking can kill a "office-mission-critical" guest (like our SBS domain controller) - embarrassing. Others who have access to that host might also not take good care with the running guests and pause or kill them. Sometimes guests need to run with a logged in user, and the guest needs to have the desktop showing so the status of the guest can be seen, but having folks click around in the guest might not be desired.

It would be useful to have a lockdown function on the guest window (active in windowed mode, I'd think, not full-screen or seamless) that would not allow any interaction with the window menus or the Close box (minimize and restore/maximize might be OK to leave unlocked) and no interaction in the guest desktop itself, until the lock is removed. It may also be possible to block Vboxmanage activity to such a locked guest, too, and have a Vboxmanage command to unlock the guest so other Vboxmanage commands could be run.

Summarizing: Ability to place a lock on Virtualbox commands and input for a guest running in a regular window, not full-screen or seamless. When the guest window is locked:

• the Virtualbox menus are unusable
• the Close Window box is unusable
• the minimize and restore window buttons are optionally still usable
• the guest desktop receives no mouse or keyboard input
• the guest desktop is still visible (perhaps an optional overlay showing the guest is locked, if desired)
• option to block Vboxmanage commands, including or excluding the VboxManage unlock command, if desired
• option to block Virtualbox RDP if the guest is locked
• a new button or menu to unlock the guest window with a password
• the guest is still completely active and running behind the lock

Please consider adding these to Virtualbox:

• the locking function, with the optional settings in the GUI
• a new Vboxmanage command to lock & unlock the guest, and set the optional settings
• a Lock Status icon in the bar at the bottom of the guest window.
