Description
My guest 2012 constantly crashes. For many reasons, but consistently when I compile my .net application on visual studio. I have been working before updating mac to yosemite, not sure what but recently cannot continue working for more than 15 or 20 minutes. One reason or another the virtual box freezes.

Narrowed the issue down to Chrome. The VM crashes when I open chrome.
I had connected this to compiling my .net because, I ran the debug into chrome browser. When changed to other browsers, the VM was stable.
Even when not compiling, just opening chrome makes the VM unstable

Could you check if
VBoxManage setextradata <VMname> "VBoxInternal/MM/CanUseLargerHeap" 1
fixes your problems? If this doesn't help, could you try
VBoxManage setextradata <VMname> "VBoxInternal/MM/cbHyperHeap" "4194304"
? Please let us know what helps in your case. Thank you!
