bridged networking very sluggish

Description
Hi, I am running VirtualBox 1.5.6 on Ubuntu Gutsy with a Windows SP2 Guest. The Guest's Network Interface (Adapter Type pcnet-Fast III) is attached to the hosts tap1 interface which is attached to a bridge. The network runs very sluggish - this is not the case when i attach the same tap-device to a linux guest in virtualbox. Regards, Karsten

Please test our latest release 2.2.2. The networking changed a lot in the meantime. Please make sure you don't use the Linux kernel 2.6.29 or 2.6.29.1.
