Hi all,
we've got the same issue with an sligthly different setup (Virtualbox 5.0.0, McAfee DLP 9.3.425.4 and 9.3.500, Win 7 Host, Kali Linux VM). Each device were reported as busy while trying to connect to the VM and Windows doesn't seem to load the "VirtualBox USB" device below USB-Controllers in the device manager.
We solved the issue by upgrading DLP to version 9.4 (9.4.100.942). Now we are able to use USB devices in the VM (tested with two different Alfa USB WLAN adapters).
We don't know what caused the problem and didn't investigated any further after the upgrade but it migth be connected to the driver used by McAfee DLP (hdlpdbk.sys). The driver used by version 9.3 is NOT digitally signed but version 9.4 is signed by "Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility". Maybe this causes some errors in virtualbox while attaching the usb device to the VM.
