Crash when installing Lubuntu

Alright. So I was trying to install the new Lubuntu in VirtualBox, and it crashed. Don't know why, it just did.
This happened twice by the way. Under the exact same scenario.

It's not your fault :-) It is a long pending issue to show a correct error message in such cases. For now only the log file contains the actual error. But this is reported elsewhere.

Solved the issue. Turns out I ran out of memory on the host system. Sorry about that. Feel a bit embarrassed now.
But on that, I think I'd like to suggest a new feature: Instead of crashing when one runs out of system memory, how about something less catastrophic? Like when one runs out of hard drive space, it just pauses the guest in that case. Why not have that happen when we run out of system memory?
Just an idea.
Now, how do I close this?
