XPCOM init failure when using CAPI from go on OSX

Description
I'm writing a VirtualBox client in go that uses the XPCOM API. It seems like the XPCOM initialization code in pfnClientInitialize fails under go's runtime environment in OSX. The same code works fine in Linux (Fedora 22 x64).
Go is gaining popularity as a systems configuration tool, so I think you should take a look.
