USB not detected when VBox running

Description
I have a Canon IX8000 series USB printer connected directly to my PC. If I run VBox the printer is reported offline and cannot be accessed. As soon as I close VB the printer starts working again

When you start your VM, please check the Devices / USB menu. Is your Canon printer marked as passed to the guest?
Do you have set up some USB filter in VBox?
