Failed to install the Extenstion Pack

Description
I have updated to the VirtualBox 4.3.30 on Ubuntu: Linux elx7422cj3f 3.13.0-62-generic #102-Ubuntu SMP Tue Aug 11 14:29:36 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux The update was successful. Then the VirtualBox detected that Extension Pack need to be updated. The download was successful but then the whole process stoped display 0% of progress. After some time it show the Error message: 1516.3 PAM failed to authenticate [Conversion error]. The Ubuntu update tool asked for administrator password but Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager have not asked for any password. Problem also happens if I try to uninstall extension pack manually. The process hangs infinitely then.
