Description
USB to serial device is attached to OSX10.11 host and works there. It is also passed to my guest XP and appears as com6. All this works flawlessly on OSX10.10. After Upgrade to OSX10.11 the Hyperterm fails to open the COM6. Only when Virtually is completely installed fron scratch it works once. When I unplug and re-plug the USB, the COM6 disappears and re-appears as expected, but from then on WinXP cannot open the COM6 any more.

The latest 5.0.13 Mac OS X test build (>= 105008) contains El Capitan fixes. Any improvements?

With test build 5.0.13 r105046 it works! Somehow with some plugging/unplugging I managed to get one of the 4 USB ports inoperational, but this came back again after reboot of the host.

Thanks for testing! The fixes are part of VBox 5.0.14. Please open separate tickets for USB issues you might have with VBox 5.0.14.
In the vbox.log is from a freshly installed VirtualBox 5.0.6 After initial start COM6 was working, its worked again after the first USB unplug and re-plug, but from the 2nd unplug, re-plug it failed
