Audio input to guest does not change when a different host recording device is set to be the default
Reported by: | Tim T ASP | Owned by: | pentagonik |

Description
While a VM session is running, the VM fails to accept audio input from the current default recording device after it has been set to a different one. The VM still accepts input from the default device that was set before the VM session was started.
The proper behavior should be that the VM always accepts audio input from the current default recording device even after a different device is set to be the default.
To work around this issue, I have to save the machine state, and then restart the VM session from the saved state.

It seems it's now partially fixed as of 5.0.16: Upon VM restore, the current input and output audio devices are used. But still no dynamic change of default input and output devices...

I can confirm this issue. It's actually a long-standing bug. I was simply assuming it was due to my broken hardware, but apparently I'm not the only one.
