Description
Hi!
When creating snapshots for a VM using split-file VMDK files, the snapshot VMDK files may exceed 2GB, which shows that they arent splitted.
I'd really appreciate this to be "fixed".
Thanks in advance, Eduard

I think this might be the cause of an issue I'm having with mounting a VMDK stream-optimized disk. When the differencing disk is created, it is also a stream-optimized disk and any guest OS I run complains about write errors. I tried to install VirtualBox 5.0.8 and 5.0.6 to confirm, but I'm getting Access Violation (0xc0000005) exceptions trying to start virtualbox.exe. VirtualBox 4.3.36 produces the expected behavior of creating non-compressed differencing VMDKs.
